Dreaming of Jewellery
This large wall hanging was originally created as part of a Millenium project, in the village of Abbotsbury (West Dorset), where I live. It was exhibited in the hilltop Chapel of St Catherine , alongside many others.
It again combines gold and silver with some of my (almost!) trademark colours and uses some of the motifs which I used to use in my jewellery designs. The surface has been quilted in gold thread.
There is also a tapestry interpretation of this piece, made into a kneeler for the village church.
