Does the vine rental period have a time limit?

Unlike other schemes that want you to pay for a renewal each year, our scheme offers you the rental for an unlimited time and will offer you the latest vintages at preferential prices for ever.

Can I visit the vineyard?

Hughes Delacour, the owner and winemaker at Chateau De La Cour, is passionate about wine and is delighted to welcome you, by appointment, at any time. He can offer you not just a tour of the vineyards, but also a tasting of the fantastic wine he produces. There are no additional costs for visiting the vineyard or for the tasting.

Do I receive updates from the vineyard?

Yes, we will provide you with not just a harvest report but will also inform you when the wines win medals at prestigious tasting competitions.

What vines are planted at Chateau De la Cour?

Your vines are a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes.

When do I receive the wine from my vines?

The harvest is normally in September each year and the wine is then stored in vats or oak barrels for about 18 months. We will offer you the latest vintage at preferential rates as soon as it has been released and shipped to us in the UK.

Can I buy the wine when I visit the Chateau?

Yes you can by all the Chateau De la Cour vintage wines at fantastic discounts.

What is written on the vine rental gift certificate?

The certificate has been signed by the wine maker and the wine buyer at Vintage Wine Gifts and has the name of the recipient and sender printed on it.

Is the rental certificate framed?

No, but the A4 size means that ready made frames are available at many high street locations.

How long does delivery take?

The gift package is available for immediate delivery.

Are there any additional delivery costs?

No, any additional wines purchased will be delivered to your door free of charge.

Is the wine delivered to my door?

Yes the wine is delivered direct to your door. Please advise on the order when someone will be available to sign for the gift.
